Tim Burton’s next movie confirmed, and more.
Tim Burton has signed on to direct the movie version of Daniel Wallace’s novel Big Fish: A Novel Of Mythic Proportions from an adaptation by screenwriter John August. Expect a 2003 release date.
Writer-director Frank Darabont has confirmed his next project will be the highly-anticipated remake/adaptation Fahrenheit 451.
Watch out for new trailers for X-Men 2, Solaris and Daredevil, all set to debut with the theatrical release of Minority Report.
In casting news, Mulholland Drive star Naomi Watts has joined Heath Ledger to star in Ned Kelly, while Eliza Dushku has dismissed rumours that she has signed on for True Lies 2. Meanwhile, those Kelly Brook/Tomb Raider 2 stories look to be false as Brook is reportedly pregnant with fiancé Jason Statham’s child, ruling out any chance of her taking on the role of Lara Croft. And finally, Kate Beckinsale will star in Underworld, a love story involving a vampire and a werewolf who, despite being sworn enemies, become lovers. Sounds interesting.
