Papa Roach cover Faith No More; Sex Pistols flog a dead horse (again); Korn in the round; Sugar Ray join Scooby Doo; Blink-182 join the Simpsons.
Nu-metallers Papa Roach have recorded cover versions of the Pixies’ Gouge Away and Faith No More’s Naked In Front Of The Computer. A bit like Bush covering Nirvana if you ask us.
The Sex Pistols are cashing in on the Queen’s forthcoming Jubilee celebrations by re-releasing their single God Save The Queen (27th May), followed by a three-CD box set featuring all the band’s studio recordings, various rarities and demos, plus a recording of their August 1976 show at London’s Screen On The Green. The band also release Jubilee – The Best Of The Sex Pistols on the same day (3rd June).
Korn have announced that their forthcoming live shows will be performed in the round. Their US tour kicks off on 20th June.
Sugar Ray make a cameo appearance in the forthcoming Scooby Doo movie performing Words To Me.
And finally, Blink-182 will appear in the 300th episode of The Simpsons as Bart joins the band on the Skewed tour (which has absolutely nothing to do with the VANS Warped tour, honest).
