Claire Danes has been brought in to replace Sophia Bush as John Conner’s girlfriend in Terminator 3 after director Jonathan Mostow decided Bush was too young to play the role after viewing the movie’s dailies.
Paul Verhoeven has hinted that both he and actor Peter Weller may return to the Robocop franchise. Speaking to TXCN News, the director said he was in talks with Weller and that a new Robocop movie was just a matter of time and viability. Dismissing the recent sequels and TV versions, Verhoeven commented, "I’d like to go back and do it properly."
According to Variety, director David Fincher is currently in talks to direct a remake of the 1975 cult movie The Reincarnation Of Peter Proud.
Jennifer Lopez looks set to star in a big screen update of Carmen to be written by Romeo And Juliet and Moulin Rouge screenwriter Craig Pearce.
